The 2023 World Baseball Classic begins March 8th in Taichung, Taiwan. It will still be March 7th here in the USA and with games being played in multiple time zones it’s not easy to figure out when games actually start. I’ve created a calendar that integrates with your iPhone’s Calendar app (and/or your Mac’s Calendar app), as well as with Google Calendar in a browser, with everything you need to know about all of the games: dates, times, teams, and TV.
iPhone and Mac users, tap here to subscribe to the World Baseball Classic calendar. Google Calendar users, tap here to subscribe.
Remember, this is a separate calendar– it won’t pollute your regular calendar. If you don’t want to see it, delete it or turn it off. Being a calendar that you subscribe to means that updates come to you automatically. For example, when we know who’s in the playoffs, I’ll update the calendar, and you’ll see it on your device, without you doing anything. This is why you SUBSCRIBE and not “import.”

Each game’s summary starts with a little baseball icon so it’s easy to pick them out in a list view, such as shown on the iPhone or here in Google Calendar’s Schedule View:
If you’re wondering about the football icons, those are from my XFL calendar. You can read all about that one in my XFL Calendar blog post.

your game times are incorrect because your calendar time zone is set to Pacific, not Eastern.
You are so right. I fixed it. Thanks for catching that.
Thanks for this. Been looking for calendar entries for the WBC but when I click onto subscribe for Google once I hit yes it says the calendar no longer exist?
I’ve seen that before and I don’t know how to fix it. But— I know that if you’re using a browser to see the calendar, it works. I am glad to work with you to figure this out. I am a Mac guy so I have that side of it down, but I am not familiar enough with the various ways you might view the calendar on Android. What I would do is view it/add it in a browser, and hopefully that carries over to whatever app you’re using for view calendars normally. One more idea: send me the URL of a calendar that you have successfully subscribed to and I will see if I can match that format.
